Innostuin pitkästä aikaa valokuvaamaan viime viikonloppuna tulppaaneja, kun löysin paikalliselta Facebook -nettikirpputorilta kauniin Helena Tyvellin Pala -maljakon 1960-70 -luvulta!
Valokuvaaminen on viime aikoina jäänyt harmittavan vähälle, ja kaikki vähäinen valoisa aika on melkein mennytkin lapsiperheen arjen pyörityksessä, ja kovaa vauhtia valmistuvan Villa Kotirannan remontin parissa. Something else -valokuvablogin ylläpito onkin talven mittaan jäänyt pääosin Mian harteille... :(
Mutta nämä keväisen värikkäät ja raikkaat valokuvat herättivät taas pienen kipinän sisälläni haahuilemaan kamera kädessä, ihmettelemässä heräilevää luontoa. Ehkä nämä aurinkoiset päivät ja valaistuvat illat tuovat muutamia lisätunteja arkeen omillekin harrastuksille. ;)

**It's been a while since I last time found myself photographing with such enthusiasm; I bought from a local Facebook -flee market group a beautiful glass Pala -vase ('Pala' is a Finnish word for 'Piece') from 1960's-1970's, designed by Helena Tyvell. So tulips it is today!
I haven't had enough time lately to spent it on photographing... All the short moments of day light have been used with the kids on every-day-activities, and to the renovation of Villa Kotiranta - which is actually finally starting look more like a house! :) So, due of the lack of free time, the up-keeping of this blog has been on Mia's workload... :(
But, with these colorful and bright photographs I found again the little sparkle of inspiration towards photographing - just waiting to get few hours of free time for wondering around the yard and forests, looking the awakening of nature after the long winter, through the lens of my Nikon.
